Raids on Squats
The weekend of the royal wedding some squats were raided violently by police, who claimed believe that this community project which primarily grows vegetables and fixes bikes (and was supposed to be installing a birdfeeder in the office gardens of their MP John McDonnel that day) was in some way related to crime and/or disrupting the royal wedding.
Two separate Judicial Reviews into the police’s raids on squats the day before the royal wedding have been rolled up with two Judicial Reviews into the Precrime arrests on the day of the royal wedding.
